As Arjun stares at Preeta, Preeta prepares tea when Arjun remembers how he teased her in the same manner, He says he just wants to know the secret method she uses to make tea, so Preeta asks what happened, asking if he would keep looking at him the same way until she makes tea. She also remembers Karan and leaves after being furious when she spotted the kettle, acting similarly to what she would do with Karan.

Shristhi, who was watching them both from the corner, was stunned when they were staring at each other. The tea is stopped by both Preeta and Arjun, Shristhi calls Preeta and advises her not to look into his eyes and instead focus on his finger. Shristhi advises her to not look here and there, and Peeta ends the call by telling her not to teach her how to do the work.

After Arjun burns his hand, Preeta immediately runs to him and pours water over it, but Arjun just thinks about the times they shared and assures her he is fine. When Shristhi quickly takes the tea cup, Arjun receives the call.

After talking to Anjali, Arjun finds out that Shristhi and Preeta were both the officials responsible for the fake income tax raid., she informs him this means they are trying to find out his truth, Arjun turns in shock thinking they are trying their best, Anjali informs both of them would do their best, Arjun explains he will talk to her later.

When Arjun turns back, Shristhi quickly pours tea into the other cup and secretly places it in her bag. Shristhi exclaims that both of them ought to leave and refuses to sit down with him. As she is about to pick up the suitcase that falls, Arjun intentionally opens it and asks Preeta how her clothes got in this bag. They both apologize, then Arjun exclaims that it means Anjali was right.

As Anjali sits in the cabin, the manager informs her he has acquired the paperwork for Luthra Mansion.
