Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior: Did you know Amitabh Bachchan is fond of Sanskrit songs?

Unlike Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kaun Banega Crorepati Juniors features bright and talented kids as contestants. During the first round of Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show, little kids from all over the world participate in the fastest finger challenges. After winning the round, the contestant sits in the hot seat and plays the game with Brahmastra’s actor.

As Shivaksh Shukla came to the hotseat in the recent episode, he became emotional. He was asked the following question by Amitabh Bachchan:

How would you describe the meaning of ‘munh meetha karna’ in Hindi?

1.   Grief

2.   Disappointment

3.   Feeling helpless

4.   Being happy

A thousand points were awarded to him for choosing option D) Happiness as the correct answer. After correctly answering the questions, he crossed the first padav. After checking Shivaksh’s report card, Pink actor learned that he enjoys singing and can sing fluently in Sanskrit. The audience was asked to listen to him sing. Furthermore, he expressed his love of Sanskrit songs.

He was next asked for Rs. 40000 by Amitabh Bachchan, whom he asked as follows:

The right answer was option D) Alauddin Khaljiand, and Shivaksh won Rs. 40,000.

He was also joined by the actor from Goodbye as he presented Sanskrit poetry.

While Shivaksh played the game brilliantly, he got stuck at the Rs. 25 lakh question and had exhausted all lifelines, so he quit and took home Rs. 1250000.
